Villi with a bat shape, folds are not present. Lined by Simple Columnar Epithelium with Striated Border and MANY Goblet Cells. Characteristic Lamina Propria with lymphoid nodules(Peyer’s Patches). Submucosa does not contain any types of glands, has Peyer’s Patches and Nerve Plexus of Meissner.
